io-consultants at LogiMAT 2019 – Logistics and SAP expertise from one source

io-consultants and its SAP consulting subsidiary io-DigitalSolutions were exhibiting together at the LogiMAT, Europe’s largest annual intralogistics trade fair, from 19 to 21 February 2019. In live demos at our booth (D40, Hall 8) and at the “Innovations Forum”, we demonstrated how clients can benefit from the combination of our comprehensive logistics know-how and io-DigitalSolutions’ SAP and digitisation expertise.

Joining the live demos at our booth, visitors gained insights into the manifold opportunities for optimising their supply and value chain. We were showing the latest generation of smart glasses to illustrate the performance and quality potential of Pick-by-Vision technology. Presentations of SAP easyTrack® demonstrated how transport planning can be fully integrated into SAP processes and optimised – from route planning using a digital map, to freight capacity optimisation with visual displays, and carrier selection.

One of the highlights was a virtual reality application that visualises warehouses and improves the efficiency of warehouse processes. Visitors tried out the VR glasses at our booth for an immersive experience of virtual movement within a warehouse.

At the Innovations Forum our experts demonstrated how companies can meet future challenges with SAP Leonardo and innovations in logistics planning.

 

“Supply chain digitisation in practice” get-together

During the LogiMAT, we hosted an exclusive “Supply chain digitisation in practice” get-together, at 6 p.m. on 20 February 2019, at the Hotel Wyndham, right next to the exhibition centre. Attendees heard first-hand about recipes for successfully digitising and optimising warehouse and transport processes. Afterwards, participants had plenty of opportunity for in-depth talks and sharing experiences.
