Groundbreaking ceremony for logistics center in Ensisheim, France
Heidelberg - 17.6.2019
With the groundbreaking ceremony on 03 June 2019, Engler Beteiligungen GmbH celebrated the first milestone in the realization phase of its new logistics project with local politicians and project participants. The Engler Group invests 150 million Euro in the construction of two logistics halls in the border triangle Germany-France-Switzerland. The planning and consulting specialist io-consultants accompanies the construction project with project management.
On an area of 185,000 square meters with direct access to the A35 motorway, two logistics halls with state-of-the-art technology will be built. io-consultants will be responsible for the project management. The construction project will be carried out with the successive completion and commissioning of two construction phases. One of the two halls will be put into operation next autumn by the listed company Delticom AG, Europe's largest online tyre dealer from Hannover.
io-consultants' many years of experience in managing major international projects is also an advantage in this project. "io-consultants has extensive, proven experience in the project management of international project landscapes with its own project management systems and tools, which enable us to respond to specific customer needs," says Florian Heimerl, member of the management board and partner at io-consultants, who provides technical support for the project and is responsible for quality assurance. "With the trust placed in us, we can fully represent our customers on site, which enables us to take foresighted measures for cost- and schedule-based control," emphasizes Fahime Mußler, project manager and architect at io-consultants.
